Getting ready for Fibrefest
This week I am working against a deadline. I will be at Fibrefest in Almonte Ontario this weekend. http://mvtm.ca/mvtm/?page_id=2675 If you are in the area come out and have a visit. It seemed to be ages away but all of a sudden here it is. I am busy making hats and scarves and cuffs. Here are some drying on my porch.
Today is a holiday in Canada, Labour Day. I am glad be cause I need the extra day to labour. I start back to work tomorrow and will have less time to felt. So Just a short Post today. I am off now to get back at it so I hopefully have enough things to sell come the weekend.

Hope you get a lot done today Ann. I am laboring today but not felting. The store is open so I’m still dealing with tourists 🙂
The only stores open her are the ones in the tourist areas so you wouldn’t get to rest here either Ruth. I managed 3 hats and a scarf. I think that’s probably it for hats. scarves are less labour intensive so I will do a few more I think.
I just had a look at the link for the fibrefest and there’s going to be a lot of things of interest there.

It should be a good show Lyn. they have us all in one big building this year instead of the museum and another building. I will get to see all the booths this year. It was really hard trying to make the colours random and not in a specific pattern. the other one is nicer than it looks in the picture the yarn has sparkle and beads. I will try to remember to take a close up of it for the forum. Thanks Lyn this is usually a good show.
