  1. Love the birdhouses but have a question about the use ….what happens when it rains? Also baby birds mess in the nest….it must get kind of yucky??? They would need to be washed after every occupancy…anyone actually use them and attract birds????

  2. I have had three birdhouse up for about 3 1/2 months with no takers. The squirrels actually like them better as they tear them up to steal the fiber.

  3. I *love* the cityscape. It is on a black felt background? I don’t do much with black. How did you do the stars – are they handstitched? How big is it? Would love to know more about this piece. A moon just makes every picture better, doesn’t it? Love it.

    1. Thanks, the stars are actually pearl beads. The background is black felt but in the middle of the layers I put some cotton gauze to prevent it sagging. I didn’t want it to slump when the temperature hits 100 with 100% humidity.

  4. Talking of World of Wool – I found it by chance recently and am loving the place. As I don’t live far from it, I drive there to buy my tops and always find treasure troves of remnants and offcuts.

    1. I haven’t been for a few years, I know it’s changed now, but it was great being shown around and being able to look at everything 🙂
