Fibre Giveaway

Today it’s my turn for a giveaway, I’m doing fibres too, and very predictably it’s naturals! There are 4 different breeds of natural wool tops totalling aproximately 300g. There’s roughly 100g of Texel and 50g of Devon:

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAI’m also including some embellishment fibres, aproximately 150g altogether. There’ll be fibres like Ramie, Bamboo fibre, Kapok, Cotton top and Soy staple:

4fibresI’ll try to include as many different fibres as possible. All you have to do to enter is leave a comment on this post.     Like many others here, I have worked mostly with Merino wool so I would love to sample these! Still felting here! Plus other things to try!

  23. What a wonderful giveaway and variety of fibers. I have just started needle felting and made a few pieces, as well as some 2D pieces. Tonight I was looking online for tutorials online so I can practice. Love working with roving and mixing up fibers in art pieces.

  25. Oh what a great give away, the sheep in the field at the bottom of my garden are texel and I’ve been wondering how their wool would felt, this would be a great opportunity to try. Love the sound of all the other interesting fibres as well, fingers crossed 👧🐑
