Happy Birthday to Us! To celebrate today, I am giving away one of my books, The Complete Photo Guide to Felting. And I’ll even sign it for you. Now if you already have it or don’t think you need a book about felting, remember that the holidays are coming soon and it would make a lovely gift for someone who has just started felting.
All you need to do is leave a comment here on this post before Sunday, November 23rd. I will draw a name randomly from the comments and send the winner a signed book. The winner will be announced in my post on November 24th. And don’t worry, anyone can win, no matter where you live. How fab would this be. I have only been felting fora short time and can’t get enough of it, and am hungry to learn more.
I already have a copy of your book Ruth, so please don’t include me in the draw, but just wanted to say what a fabulous resource it is, it covers all manner of felting techniques, with lots of great tips (like how to make your own shoe lasts) and lots of fun projects to make. It really is the perfect gift for anyone new to felting but has plenty of useful info (like calculating shrinkage and what breeds are best for different end products) for the more experienced felter too. Oh, and best of all it is crammed full of photos, ideal if you are a visual learner like me 🙂
