Giveaway
We thought it was time for another giveaway!
A few weeks ago I did a post about a piece of felt I’d made with lots of natural fibres, with the intention of making a notebook cover out of it. Well, I’ve finally made the cover π So if you’d like to win a notebook with a handmade, hand sewn felt cover, all you have to do is leave a comment on this post.
This is the front of the book:
Back:
And inside:
The notebook is lined and a standard A6 size, which is about 4.25 x 6 inches.
The competition ends next Tuesday at 10 am UK time. I will announce the winner sometime on Tuesday, so please check back then, and if you have won, please leave a comment on the post so I can contact you for shipping info. Thanks a lot and Good Luck!

Oh, it’s fantastic! Is that a blanket-stitch I see along the edges?
It’s so much fun, isn’t it, to use felt as fabric, and to see how different it looks in its new form? XXO-
Thanks, Heather π
Yep that’s blanket stitch. It is nice to see felt transformed into something, but sometimes it’s still hard to cut it π
Loved it when you first made it. Love the textures and curls from all those different fibres. Reminds me of a mist covered landscape. I always enjoy anything made by the Zedster! Cheers!
That is really beautiful! I’m just getting into felting and always looking for new ideas of how to use the wool from my beautiful Shetland sheep!
I really enjoy seeing what the four of you are doing and it would be really special to recieve this book cover. Thanks for sharing your experiments on your blog.
It was beautiful as a piece of felt and it’s pretty as a book cover!
How come you are so good, Zed? Love the book cover and the wool is gorgeous as ever.

Pam, don’t tell anyone, but I always have to look at my blanket stitch tutorial to remember how to start π
Zed – don’t put me in the drawing but I just wanted to say the book cover is gorgeous. Such a generous gift for someone π

Yummy book cover! Really liked all the nuno felt pics in your latest “Texture” post. Thought the pic with the caption, “This is another organza base, a slightly stiffer gold:” is gorgeous.
