Once you have all your parcels in the steamer turn on for at least 40min, I have steamed it for less time but i find 40mins will soak up all the dye and there shouldnt be any color run. Red will sometimes bleed but not always

I love this steamer, is it for dying or is it for food? I’m new to working with dying wool. Thanks!
Hi Mary, This was a steamer for food but as i didnt use this one its now used for dying wool and i dont put food it in anymore, It does an aweome job to 🙂
Do you ever have to worry about the upper packets leaking dye to the lower ones? What a great alternative to using a microwave (which I don’t own)!
