  1. What type of sewing machine do I need for the online class, stitching on felt? I have a 1940 Singer that simply goes forward and back.
If I have to buy a new one I would like to know what features to shop for.

    1. Hi Phyllis,

Thanks for your interest in this class. It will be a while before it is offered though. I would suggest a machine that has the ability to lower the feed dogs. Other than that, it can be fairly basic. You could probably use the Singer but it would be a bit more difficult to handle. Brother machines are a good machine that aren’t very expensive. Make sure the feed dogs can be lowered and it would help if it came with a darning foot. But you can buy those separately if needed. Hope that helps.

    2. I got a Janome TXL607 it got a lot of features does machine embroidery like letters. It was on sale hence me getting it. It’s a great machine I can use it for embroidery and also dress making if I want. A good all rounder machine.

  2. Entered my info for free form stitching it doesn’t seem to be taking it. Hope I didn’t send multiple times. Maybe you are already filled ?

  3. I’d like to pay by credit card, I don’t have a Pay Pal account, can this be arranged?
