I did some dyeing
and some creating with this fun piece for one of the challenges.
and some stitching
and I wanted to thank Jan for her guest posts
http://feltingandfiberstudio.com/2016/06/24/reuse-of-scraps-with-roots-in-history/ a look at a great class on weaving with scraps.
And the great cat cave adventure http://feltingandfiberstudio.com/2016/02/25/the-great-fish-creation/
All in all I think It’s been a good felting and fiber year. I hope yours was great and 2017 will be even better.

Looking at everyone’s stuff I reckon 2016 was an amazingly creative year!
Thanks Lyn, I don’t think you have been a slouch either.
yes Lyn, I agree, I think FFS motivated everybody also very good, I am very happy with that forum and the people like Ann to stimulate us.
Thanks, we try to keep all of us going and sharing. All of you inspire us too.
Great year Ann. Look at all the new fiber enthusiasts you’ve trained! You’ve made some lovely things as well. The red bowl and woven scarf are really nice. I’m glad you featured them. On to 2017!
Thanks Marilyn. We are getting a few more felting enthusiasts in the guild. It’s nice to not be alone.
Teaching does take a lot of time, doesn’t it? But well worth it. Creating new fiber addicts! 🙂 Hope your 2017 is wonderful and creative!
Thanks Ruth. I love teaching, seeing people learn and all the creativity people have.
I don’t know how you fit in all the teaching Ann, just washing/drying the equipment and the soap takes all week and all the space! I also don’t know how you can let your silk pieces go for scarves! Nice photos, you had a good year 🙂
Thanks Zed. that is a good thing about having a separate studio, you can spread everything out to dry. I dye the silk to make scarves so its not so hard I can always dye more.
