Yarn Bombing Without Knitting

Yarn Bombing Without Knitting

I have always associated yarn bombing with knitting or crocheting. It looked like fun but since I don’t knit or crochet, I never tried it. At my felting retreat this past weekend, Jan showed us how to do a wrapped key chain and I suddenly realized that I didn’t need to know how to knit to yarn bomb.

So we found a nice tree stump by the lodge and wrapped and embellished the tree to our heart’s content. We just used a variety of yarns, roving and a few pine cones. If you haven’t tried it, you should. It was great fun.

    1. Terri – that’s a great idea. I love your tree. Ours was just a stump so it wouldn’t have worked well but a good thought for next time.

  1. I tried really hard to concentrate on the tree but my attention was taken by the surroundings – what a fantastic place! You lucky thing.

  2. I was thinking the same as Lyn 🙂
It looks like some of our coastal areas or Scotland.
It looks like you were having fun 🙂

We'd love to hear your thoughts!
